AI starts acting for you — permissions now matter most
Meta AI's new action mode and AI inside Trust Wallet point in the same direction: an assistant no longer only answers, but plans tasks or prepares actions. The practical value may increase, while users need to understand which data the AI can access and what still requires their confirmation.

1. Meta AI moves from answers to handling tasks
Meta said on 24 July that Meta AI, powered by Muse Spark 1.1, can plan tasks, connect to email and calendar apps, create presentations and deliver recurring briefings. The features are starting to roll out in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai in selected markets; WhatsApp and more countries are due later.
2. Trust Wallet AI reads a portfolio and prepares transactions
Trust Wallet AI became available to all users on 24 July in app version 26.28.4 or later. It can read holdings across chains, answer market questions and assemble a swap, purchase or transfer for review. The company says nothing executes without the user's confirmation.
